Are you a certified pet therapist? Share your furry friend with our hospice patients and brighten their day. Traditions Health is looking for volunteers like you to donate their time and talent to make a difference in the lives of our hospice patients in the Athens area. Free training which covers general information about hospice and how it works, volunteer do's and don'ts, and safety information. Requirements for volunteers include background check, TB test, brief physical, and drug screen. We are happy to cover the cost of these requirements. If volunteers are working directly with patients, we ask that they be vaccinated for COVID or be tested for weekly. We are happy to work with your schedule and will keep you as close to home as possible
