Do you enjoy meaningful conversations and want to make a positive impact? VITAS is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as Proactive Caller Volunteers, offering support and compaionship to hospice patients and their families. As a volunteer you will make check in calls to patients and their loved ones- providing a listening ear, ensuring that they have the needed supplies, and identifying any service concerns. You can volunteer from home, your dorm, or our local VITAS office. Free training and support provided.
