The ED Ambassador acts as a liaison between the patient/visitor and the hospital in order to determine and help resolve patients’ non-medical needs and concerns during their ED visit. The purpose of this Volunteer's role is to provide comfort and compassionate listening while protecting patient confidentiality. Must have a positive outlook while interacting with patients and staff and promote good public relations within the community.
