FMFH- DIGITAL NAVIGATOR (VOLUNTEER)

Overview

As a Digital Navigator, you will play a vital role in empowering hospital inpatients by helping them access and understand their real-time medical notes through the MyChart app. Your support will help patients feel more informed, engaged, and confident during their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside sessions with hospital inpatients to demonstrate MyChart's real-time notes feature using the patient’s own mobile device.
• Provide clear, scripted explanations of the feature’s benefits, tailored to each patient’s level of technical comfort.
• Assist patients with simple troubleshooting needs, including login issues and basic app navigation.
• Maintain strict adherence to hospital policies, including HIPAA compliance, patient confidentiality, and compassionate communication that respects each patient’s medical and emotional needs.

• Ability to coordinate and relay concerns, challenges, or patient feedback to supervising staff.
