Front-End Developer (Volunteer)

Role Overview:

As a Front-End Developer, you will help design and develop user-friendly, responsive web interfaces. You’ll work closely on implementing features and improving the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end features using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Build responsive, accessible UI components following best practices (WCAG)
• Collaborate on integrating REST APIs
• Optimize application performance and usability
• Participate in code reviews and version control using Git/GitHub

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
• Experience with React and state management (Redux or Context API)
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3
• Familiarity with UI frameworks like Tailwind, Material UI, or Bootstrap
• Experience with API integration using Axios or Fetch
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards
• Experience with Git and GitHub

Nice to Have:

• Basic understanding of backend development and APIs
