Annual Blanket Making Event

We are pleased to invite you to the March the of the Blanketeers, 14th Annual Blanket Making Event.

It will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026, at the Nesconset Branch of the Smithtown Library, from 4-6PM located in the Community Room.

Please bring along your Blanket Making Supplies and projects. Optional: Two Community Service Hours can be awarded for this Event.

Additionally, one sewing machine, some yarn, thread, brochures, labels, limited scissors and Quilt Kits will be available for on-site use.

If you are planning to bring your own supplies, please take care to adhere to the following strict requirements:

Yarn:

• Colorful
• Acrylic
• Cotton
• Nylon
• Polyester

Fleece/Flannel and other fabrics must be:

Cheerful in Nature and free from:

• Adult Topics
• Drug Refernces
• Black Backgrounds
• Smoke of every kind

Light refreshments will be served.

NOTE: Anything purchased for March of the Blanketeers purposes, is completely eligible for a FULL Tax Deduction, as March of the Blanketeers is a registered 501c(3) nonprofit organization.
