Are you a music-lover who is passionate about helping others? Apply to be a Volunteer Guide (non-musician) with Musicians On Call today!
Musicians On Call (MOC) is a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments. During each shift, a Volunteer Guide escorts a Volunteer Musician room to room offering a live, acoustic performance to patients. MOC needs YOU to help us spread the healing power of music at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and Lurie Children's Hospital!
- Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Thursdays @ 5:30 pm CT
- Lurie Children's Hospital Wednesdays @ 6:00 pm CT
- Riveredge Hospital (behavioral health facility) - program day/time TBD
- Volunteers must complete one 60-90 minute shift once a month for at least one year
