About Us

Powered By Love (PBL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in grassroots efforts in Arizona, with a bold vision to expand nationally. Founded by Carlos Da Silva in 2023, PBL exists to show love through action, donating essential items to unhoused and vulnerable communities with dignity and compassion.

Since our founding, we’ve distributed over 44,000 items, including hygiene kits, clean water, school supplies, food, clothing, and blankets. Our work is driven by the 831 Campaign, inspired by the numbers 8-3-1 (“I love you”)—and carried out through six sub-campaigns:

• Powered By Love (toiletries & hygiene)
• Powered By Water (clean water distribution)
• Powered By Knowledge (school supplies)
• Powered By Warmth (clothing & blankets)
• Powered By Our Daily Bread (food)
• Powered By You (nonprofit LMS sponsorships)

Despite early traction, PBL remains a self-funded, one-person operation. With no paid staff and minimal infrastructure, our ability to grow depends on building sustainable partnerships with mission-aligned companies, philanthropists, and community advocates.

The Project

We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help Powered By Love develop and launch a corporate sponsorship and partnerships strategy. This role is central to our ability to expand capacity, scale nationally, and fulfill our bold mission of distributing 831 million items of love to those who need it most.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Research and identify corporations, foundations, and influencers aligned with PBL’s mission.
• Develop a sponsorship pipeline, outreach plan, and partnership packages.
• Guide us in framing compelling sponsorship proposals and pitch decks.
• Advise on celebrity and influencer engagement strategies to amplify awareness.
• Build a repeatable system for cultivating and maintaining sponsor relationships.

Love in action requires resources. Without ongoing funding and partnerships, too many families and individuals will continue to go without basic human needs like water, food, and warmth. Commitment

Remote, flexible hours. Estimated 2–4 hours per week for 6-7 weeks with potential to extend if desired.
