As a volunteer, unpaid Recruiter with Season to Soar, you will play a vital role in shaping the future for underserved youth. You will lead the effort to attract, interview, and onboard individuals who are eager to make a meaningful impact. By expanding our team of volunteers, you will help us reach more communities in need and provide essential support to those facing challenging circumstances.

Responsibilities:

• Mange the full cycle of recruiting from posting open roles on volunteer and job platforms, communicating with candidates, scheduling and hosting interviews, making offers and onboarding
• Identify and engage potential volunteers who are aligned with Season to Soar's mission.
• Provide comprehensive information about available volunteer roles and address questions or concerns from potential volunteers.
• Develop and implement effective strategies and policies to optimize Season to Soar's volunteer recruitment efforts.
• Thoughtfully match potential volunteers with opportunities based on their skills and interests.

Time Commitment:

Estimated commitment of a total of 5 hours per week, entailing 2 hours of virtual meetings per week and approximately 3 hours executing projects and tasks outside of meetings

This position has a term length of 1 year.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role is preferred.
• Passion for Season to Soar's mission and commitment to making a difference in underserved communities.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities to engage and inform potential volunteers about Season to Soar's initiatives and opportunities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage and coordinate volunteer information.
