Do you have one hour a week to visit with an isolated, older adult in Marin?
LITA is partnering with Vivalon to reach out to lonely older adults who are homebound - some without family, friends, or any visitors at all.
Volunteers will make one social visit a week for about one hour, to one resident. LITA will match you with the resident and provide an orientation and ongoing support so that you feel comfortable visiting and connecting with your new friend.
Requirements:
Two non-family references
