Brilliant McDougall-Hunt Homework Helper

Brilliant Detroit offers fall after-school programming that includes a variety of programs designed to support literacy development, promote health and wellness, and provide engaging enrichment experiences that help young learners thrive.

Our McDougall-Hunt hub is currently seeking a dedicated volunteer to support the weekly Homework Help program! No previous experience is required, we’re just looking for a caring and enthusiastic mentor who enjoys working with elementary-aged children and is excited to take on a leadership role by guiding and encouraging their Brilliant student.

Homework Helpers create a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment where students ages 5-8 can transition from the school day, complete their homework, and engage in meaningful learning activities through individualized, one-on-one support.

This volunteer opportunity takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6 p.m. If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to connect and learn more about your interest in volunteering with Brilliant Detroit!
