United Black Family Scholarship Foundation (UBFSF)
Empowering Communities. Transforming Lives. One Project at a Time.
Are you passionate about social justice, community empowerment, and creating real change from the inside out? Join the United Black Family Scholarship Foundation (UBFSF) as a Volunteer Project Manager, where you’ll lead one of our three signature programs that support incarcerated and system-impacted individuals.
This is more than a volunteer role—this is a call to lead, to organize, and to be part of a national movement driven by those who know the struggle firsthand.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of one of the following key initiatives:
Equip incarcerated individuals with the tools to become nonprofit founders and community leaders. This program provides curriculum access, mentorship, and leadership development to help build sustainable change behind and beyond the walls.
Lead the production pipeline for publishing powerful testimonies from incarcerated writers. This project promotes intellectual property rights, storytelling, and media production that humanizes mass incarceration and gives voice to those silenced.
Help guide a youth-led initiative focused on real estate literacy, job training, and anti-gentrification strategies in low-income neighborhoods. Through mentorship, entrepreneurship, and creative planning, we help youth rebuild their communities from within.
You will manage timelines, support volunteers or contributors, track milestones, and report on program outcomes—all while contributing to a visionary, justice-driven mission.
