Social Media Assistant Volunteer

Description: YesLiberia is seeking a motivated individual passionate about social media to join our team as a Social Media Assistant. In this role, you help develop globally relevant social media campaigns, creating shareable content and deliverables to support greater brand awareness and engagement. You understand the social media sphere and can craft sincere and timely content to produce viral engagement. Our ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with experience in copywriting, graphic design, and digital content creation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and pitch social media plans and campaigns

• Execute ongoing and approved engagement campaigns based on the organization’s strategy and guidelines

• Create new shareable content and engagement opportunities

• Directly messaging existing followers who are responding to our social posts.

• Politely convince our existing followers to get on our mailing list for regular updates.

• Encourage actual supporters to join our Facebook LIVE sessions as guests.

• Help with graphic designs for social media

• Respond to Social Media questions from the public on our social media pages.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, or relevant field

• Portfolio of successful social media content or profile management

• Experience with Canva is strongly preferred

• Demonstrable personal presence on various social media platforms

• A passion for helping kids and volunteering
