Role Title: Director of Content Creation – UX Strategy & Organizational Media
Duration: June 5 – August 10, 2026 (Symposium: Aug 15–16)

The Leadership Mission
The Medica Zone is seeking a Director of Content Creation who views digital media as a tool for behavioral change and organizational growth. This is a high-level leadership role ideal for graduate students or seniors focusing on HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), Communications Research, or I-O Psychology. You will manage a team of creators to ensure our $9,000 summer fundraising goal is met through data-backed storytelling.
Executive UX & I-O Responsibilities:
- Digital Ecosystem Architecture (UX): You will oversee the visual and structural "User Journey" across all platforms. Your goal is to ensure that our content funnel—from a social media "impression" to a website "donation"—is seamless and psychologically compelling.
- Team Performance & Culture (I-O): You will manage the Content Creation department using I-O principles. You will design creative workflows that maximize team efficiency, foster an inclusive remote culture, and prevent "creative burnout" during the intensive 10-week cohort.
- Brand Perception Research: You will lead "Visual Identity Audits" to measure how the public perceives our mission of healthcare equity. You’ll use these insights to pivot our messaging for the "Spring Awareness" and "Giving Tuesday" campaigns.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Working closely with the Finance Director, you will analyze the UX of our sponsorship packages and donation links, using A/B testing on creative assets to maximize revenue.
