Job Summary:
IAABC Foundation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support streamlining and strengthening organizational operations. This role focuses on analyzing documented processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability, and designing improved workflows supported by appropriate technology.
Responsibilities
Process Re-engineering & Optimization
- Analyze current-state SOPs and workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, risks, and scalability limitations
- Design future-state processes that improve clarity, efficiency, and volunteer experience
- Balance operational rigor with flexibility appropriate for an all-volunteer organization
Technology Enablement
- Identify technology solutions aligned to operational needs (e.g., work management, documentation, collaboration, automation)
- Configure and implement tools to support redesigned workflows
- Ensure technology choices are accessible, sustainable, and appropriate for volunteer skill levels
Implementation & Change Support
- Partner with program leaders and volunteers to implement new processes and tools
- Support the update of SOPs to reflect redesigned workflows and system changes
- Support adoption through clear documentation, guidance, and collaboration
Strategic Partnership
- Work closely with leadership to align process improvements with long-term organizational goals
- Support future-proofing efforts by ensuring processes and systems are resilient to volunteer turnover and growth
Job Requirements - Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Experience in business process re-engineering, operations improvement, or systems implementation
- Strong ability to translate business needs into process and system solutions
- Hands-on experience configuring or administering operational tools such as Airtable, Monday.com
- Comfort working in environments with evolving requirements and limited formal structure
