Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in Terrell, TX

Do you have a caring heart and desire to make a difference in someone's life? Bristol Hospice Dallas is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as companion volunteers for patients in their final stages of life.

What You'll Do:

• Visit patients in their homes, assisted living, or nursing facilities
• Offer companionship through conversation, reading aloud, playing games, or simply sitting quietly together
• Provide a comforting presence to patients who may not have family nearby
• Support emotional well-being through kindness and attentiveness

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Complete Bristol Hospice's volunteer training and onboarding process
• Pass background and TB screening (provided at no cost)
• Have reliable transportation

Time Commitment: Flexible with your schedule - Just 1-2 hours a week can make a meaningful impact!
