Circle of Care Caller – Hospice Volunteer Opportunity

Location: Remote (Phone-Based)

Time Commitment: Flexible, 1–2 hours per week

Overview:

Our hospice team is seeking compassionate volunteers to serve as Circle of Care Callers. This role helps ensure our patients’ families and caregivers feel supported, informed, and connected throughout their loved one’s hospice journey.

What You’ll Do:

• • Make friendly, supportive check-in calls to family members or caregivers of hospice patients
  • Provide a listening ear, offer reassurance, and relay any concerns to the care team
  • Document brief notes about each call
  • Help strengthen the circle of communication between caregivers and our hospice team
  • Provide comfort and consistency for families during a difficult time

Who You Are:

• • Compassionate, patient, and comfortable talking on the phone
  • A good listener with a warm, supportive presence
  • Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Interested in making a meaningful impact with minimal time commitment

Training Provided:

All volunteers receive hospice training, guidance, and ongoing support from our Volunteer Coordinator.
