ONG (Setor Social)
Logo Designer & Visual Identity Specialist
Detalhes
Descrição
Role Purpose: First Church UCC is in a beautiful season of transformation as we turn our campus into a modern, communal gathering space. We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to serve as a "Visual Diplomat." We currently have a historic logo and a recent revision that received mixed feedback from our congregation. We need a creative partner to take those elements and refine them into a final mark that honors our legacy while clearly signaling our future as a radically welcoming, justice-centered home for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visual Audit: Review our historic logo and the recent revision alongside congregational feedback to identify "friction points."
- Iterative Design: Refine the logo mark to balance traditional church elements with modern, inclusive aesthetics.
- Typography & Color: Finalize a professional color palette and font suite that works across digital and physical signage.
- Brand Guidelines: Provide a simple "cheat sheet" for how the logo should be used (clear space, minimum size, color variations).
- Final Delivery: Provide high-resolution vector files (AI, EPS) and web-ready formats (PNG, JPG).
What We’re Looking For:
- Professional experience in logo design and visual identity.
- An "active listener" who can translate community feedback into design adjustments.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar vector-based software.
- Passion for social justice and LGBTQAI+ inclusion.
- Ability to work through 3–4 rounds of subtle revisions to find the perfect "middle ground."
Why Volunteer With Us? Your work will provide the "face" for our community’s new chapter. You aren't just making a logo; you are helping a historic community feel seen, heard, and excited about their future.
