Volunteer Opportunity: Friendly Visitor & Conversation Companion
Location: Oregon City, OR 97045
Setting: Assisted Living Community
Would you like to brighten someone's day through friendship and conversation? We are seeking a caring volunteer to provide one-on-one companionship to an older adult who enjoys connecting with others and thrives on positive social interaction.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Friendly visits and conversation
- Discussing favorite mystery books, shows, or stories
- Talking about cats, nature, and everyday life
- Sharing a sweet treat or enjoying social time together
- Providing companionship and helping reduce isolation
Volunteer Qualifications:
- Friendly, patient, and dependable
- Positive and upbeat personality
- Comfortable engaging in one-on-one visits with older adults
- No gender preference
About the Participant: This participant enjoys spending time with positive people and values meaningful one-on-one conversations. Interests include cats, mysteries, nature, and candy. Regular visits can help provide important social connections and companionship.
