369 Life Service (a program by 369 Star Village, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) provides compassionate home safety transformations and decluttering services to empower local seniors and families in the South Bay to live safely and comfortably at home.

We specialize in essential home modifications—such as custom warm-wood grab bars, motion-sensor lighting, and barrier-free transitions—that enhance mobility without compromising home aesthetics.
Role Overview We are looking for dedicated Community Outreach Volunteers to help expand our reach across the South Bay area! Our promotional flyers (featuring QR codes for easy access) are fully designed and ready to use.
You can choose to support us in-person locally in the South Bay, remotely from anywhere, or both:
- Option A: In-Person Local Distribution (South Bay Area)
- Print and place our ready-to-use flyers on physical bulletin boards at local senior centers, Japanese/local grocery stores, cafes, libraries, and community partner spaces (e.g., Torrance, Gardena, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, etc.).
- Politely request permission from local business owners to leave takeaway flyers or post on their boards.
- Option B: Remote Online Bulletin & Outreach Volunteer (100% Remote)
- Research and identify relevant South Bay online platforms (e.g., Nextdoor, local Facebook community groups, city resource directories).
- Post our digital flyers and short service announcements to help local families find home safety resources.
- (Optional) If you enjoy graphic design, creating new localized flyer variations or social media graphics is also very welcome!
Qualifications
- For In-Person: Based in or near the South Bay area (Gardena, Torrance, Redondo Beach, PVP, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, etc.).
- For Remote: Comfortable with online research, community group posting, and simple digital communications.
- Friendly, proactive, and passionate about senior care and community well-being.
Time Commitment & Location
- Location: Remote (Online Outreach) OR In-Person (South Bay Area)
- Hours: Approx. 2–4 hours per week (Flexible schedule)
