Patience, a kind heart, and the ability to meet people where they are at without judgement. Due to many clients being potentially vulnerable seniors, being able to assess safety risks for clients, and having a good background check.

Descrição

Volunteer to drive low-income seniors and adults with disabilities to their medical appointments and other essential errands. Volunteer Services, a program with Catholic Community Services, works to meet the transportation needs of low-income seniors and adults with disabilities who do not have any other safe means of transportation.

Volunteers are covered by the VS/CCS extended liability/accident/auto insurance and are reimbursed for mileage.

Volunteers use their own vehicles, so you must have a current license and auto insurance, as well as pass a driver's abstract.

We have an online website you can sign into and check for rides that work for you! Volunteer as you like and are able to!

The ability to access medical care and food cannot be understated. Make a difference in someone's life today!
