Volunteers Needed for Black Women's Expo!

The Rise Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides free Resourceful, Informative, Services, to Educate and Empower (R.I.S.E.), high school youth of single parent households, and their single parents by offering free assistance, and workshops to help them transition from high school into an institution, or Trade school transitioning from high school into an institution of higher learning.

Currently, we are seeking volunteers to help us at our upcoming College & Trade Fair, "College Row" at the Black Women's Expo, We are seeking youth volunteers as well to march in with our mascot Skylar the Scholar as she makes her debut entrance leading all the colleges, universities and Trade schools into College Row at the Expo, the youth will March into the Expo with graduation gowns to rep graduates, and may be used as a backup mascot for at least 25/30 minutes Youth can range from ages 14 -25, NOTE: Youth Must be Energetic and love to have fun! we will provide a free meal coupon and free entry to the event. Please contact our office and leave a message I want to volunteer, and someone will get back to you. The Expo will take place July 31st, - August 2nd located at the McCormick Place 2301 S. King Dr. 10:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m. Some volunteers will assist also with regrestration , College Row resource informational table, set up , and break down. This volunteer opportunity will give all volunteers an opportunity to get up close and engage with vendors, and exhibitor's before and during this wonderful event opportunity

we will be hosting at the Black Women's Expo this year on Friday July 31st, _ August 2nd. from10:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m., Volunteers can assist with registration table, resource table coordination set up, greeter, back up mascot, video/pictures
