Looking for a way to give back, gain experience, and make an impact—all in one day?

Join OIC of America’s STEMLinx Initiative and Equitable Access College Consulting for STEM Saturday, a fun, hands-on community event where K–8 students explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and math.

As a STEM Activity Facilitator, you’ll lead students through simple, interactive STEM challenges, helping them think creatively, work as a team, and see themselves as future innovators.

No prior teaching or STEM experience required—just bring your energy and curiosity!

What You’ll Do

• Lead 5 students through a 20-minute STEM project (training and materials provided).
• Encourage exploration, teamwork, and creativity.
• Keep activity areas organized and ready for the next group.
• Collaborate with other college volunteers and community professionals.
• Participate in a short volunteer orientation that morning.
