Have you thought about volunteering with wildlife? The Desert Wildlife Center (located in Indio, Ca) might be the place for you! We need volunteers on the hotline team but if you are interested in other animal care teams, visit our website desertwildlifecenter.org and submit your application.
The Hotline Team answers calls from the public ranging in nature from general questions on how to coexist with wildlife, to wildlife in urgent need of assistance. You will receive the proper training and tools to field these calls.
This position is remote and can be fulfilled from the comfort of your own home using Dialpad, a phone system designed to field calls and keep your phone number private.
Shift Times: 9AM-1PM and 1pm-5pm daily. Requires a weekly recurring shift, same day/same time.
