The WA State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program (SW Region-Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Pacific, Skamania, and Wahkiakum Counties) is seeking compassionate individuals to visit and provide outreach to residents residing in assisted living, memory care, adult family, and nursing homes.
A visiting volunteer Ombuds educates residents about their rights, empowers residents to seek resolution regarding their concerns, and problem-solves for those unable to take action. We desire reasonable accommodations for our resident's care and quality of life.
Your presence can make a difference in the lives of these very special people residing in long term care.
If you have a few hours a week to spare and a desire to make a difference, then our program is for you!
We offer a flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, appreciation events, and a great team atmosphere.
Our 36-hour hybrid certification training now occurs throughout the year.
We hope to hear from you and thanks for your time!
