Interested applicants must interview with our staff. If accepted to the program, they must have Reiki certification or take a class. Tuberculosis test, MMR and varicella vaccines upon acceptance, seasonal flu vaccines.

Patients at Hartford Hospital need to feel a sense of relaxation during times of stress or pain. You can be part of the healing process through Reiki, a "hands on" approach that allows for deep relaxation that can cause stress reduction, reduction in muscle tension and pain, accelerated wound healing, and a greater sense of health and well-being.
