HR/Compliance Support for We Will Thru Sports

We Will Thru Sports is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through sports and mentorship. As we grow, it’s essential that we strengthen the human resources and compliance side of our organization—and we’re looking for a dedicated volunteer to help us.

Role: HR & Compliance Volunteer

We need support with ensuring our HR practices align with nonprofit requirements, particularly when it comes to government filings and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with HR-related government filings and documentation
• Help ensure compliance with labor laws, nonprofit regulations, and reporting requirements
• Review policies and procedures to strengthen best practices
• Provide guidance on volunteer/employee classifications and record-keeping

Ideal Volunteer:

• Has experience in HR, nonprofit compliance, or employment law
• Familiar with federal and state filing requirements for nonprofits
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Passionate about youth development and supporting community organizations
