Each week the IOCP Food Shelf serves 200+ households.
Food Shelf Shopper Assistants help program participants while they are shopping in the Food Shelf and assist staff when needed. This could involve greeting shoppers, gathering items for shoppers, bagging items, restocking shelves, and answering questions.
This role requires following all safety guidelines required by IOCP, be able to stand/move/bend on cement for length of shift, be able to lift 20lbs., be over 18, and be able to respectfully work with diverse populations.
