A PLUS HOSPICE CARE is a hospice agency licensed by the State of California. Our mission is to provide an individualized program of physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical care for people in the last phases of a life-limiting illness, with emphasis on control of pain and other symptoms. We are a team of compassionate professionals whose character and philosophy "preserves choice, dignity and comfort". We are "called" to serve persons nearing the end of life so that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. We assist the family or other designated caregiver in making the patient as comfortable as possible making it possible for them to remain independent for as long as possible in familiar surroundings.

Hospice Volunteers are an integral part of our hospice team, filling roles that range from direct contact with patients, bereavement or grief support or even administrative support. Our hospice volunteers describe their work as gratifying and emotionally meaningful.

We are actively seeking volunteers to work with our terminally ill patients and their families residing in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. We have a comprehensive training that entails all aspects of hospice and our volunteers are truly a wonderful and integral component of our program.
