Organization: Gentle Transitions Hospice (office located at 510 Avenue E, Moody, TX 76557)

Volunteer Locations: Waco, Temple/Killeen, Hillsboro, and surrounding areas

As a hospice volunteer, you might:

• Visit patients in their homes or long-term care facilities for friendly conversation, reading, or quiet presence
• Provide relief for family caregivers with short respite visits
• Make check-in phone calls to families or bereavement support calls
• Help in our office with mailings, data entry, or comfort kit assembly

Whether you prefer hands-on connection or behind-the-scenes support, we offer a role that matches your comfort level and interests.

No medical experience required-just a warm heart, good listening skills, and reliability. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Requirements:

• Attend volunteer orientation/training
