Volunteer at our non-profit social projects near Mbale, Uganda

Hi, i am Jeremiah the founder of our non-profit organisation. It is dedicated to improving maternal and child health in rural communities of Eastern Uganda. Therefore, we provide healthcare services, education, and community empowerment programs to vulnerable populations.

We welcome volunteers from diverse backgrounds to join our team and contribute their skills and time to support our humanitarian work. Opportunities include:

> assisting our medical team with health camps, patient care, and health education

> support our education programs at Golden Hill Academy (nursery and primary school), especially in basic computer training

> support community outreach and empowerment initiatives in Mbale district

> be ready to help with office tasks, project management, proposal writing, social media management, fundraising and much more

> can you construct, do carpentry, fine art/ draw, sew, or similar? Get crafty and pass on your skills

> share your passions with us—whether it's music, dance, soccer, video editing or something else entirely

> get creative and support us with the skills you possess as a person

However you can learn all these while working with us. :)

There are benefits of Volunteering with us as you will contribute to improving the lives of mothers and children in rural Uganda. You will develop new skills and gain valuable experience in humanitarian work. Besides you will immerse yourself in Ugandan culture and learn about local customs and traditions more especially our Bagisu culture.

Duration for volunteership: Minimum 2 weeks to 3 months commitment. We shall help you in Visa Application by sending you an invitation letter.

Accomodation: We can host you with a moderate accommodation in our home. Depending on how many volunteers we currently have, you will either have your own room and bathroom or share it with one other person. We are already experienced in hosting volunteers from all over the world.

Be aware: If this is your first time to Uganda the different culture and basic living circumstances can be a a culture shock. Take your time to adjust staying with us and learn about the beauty of living the rural life of a small community.
