Patient Companion Volunteer

We are welcoming Volunteers to join our Hospice team to provide companionship and social visits to patients that are currently under our care in their homes. Each opportunity is matched to a Volunteers location and schedule. Minimum of two visits per month can make a significant difference and be the start of a wonderful friendship. Friendly visits from a Hospice Volunteer may include but are not limited to, sitting with a patient while a family member runs an errand, reading, crafts., helping with lite housekeeping, simple conversation, running an errand for a patient or any skill or hobby you believe can add value to their moments. If you have the desire to bring some love and light into the heart and home of a Hospice patient and their family, you can make a significant impact here at Providence Care.
