Join our Animal Welfare Education Advisory Committee at Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW)

Voices for Animal Welfare (VfAW) is forming a series of honorary advisory committees made up of passionate individuals, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals, who are eager to contribute their expertise to ethical and inclusive animal welfare education. Our work prioritizes cross-continental collaboration, with a special focus on partnerships between Africa and Europe.

We are currently inviting applicants with experience or a strong interest in humane education for schools, communities, and the broader public, with a focus on empathy, responsibility, and coexistence.

Advisory members provide expert advice and help shape our programs, research, and advocacy. They promote ethical and culturally respectful animal welfare and support collaboration between Africa and Europe. We welcome both experienced professionals and new voices who bring fresh ideas and global perspectives. Committee members can also help with advocacy, outreach, and fundraising as part of their volunteer work. Members may be asked to support or lead virtual learning sessions, workshops, or mentorship opportunities related to humane education.

This is a remote, part-time volunteer position (unpaid) open to applicants anywhere in the world.

Estimated time commitment: 5 hours/week, flexible and remote.
