Volunteer Advocacy Leader, Portland, OR : State Action to Defend the U.S. Constitution
Detalhes
Descrição
Your state and local governments have the power and the duty to defend the U.S. Constitution and stand up to the federal government's attack on our democracy. Democratism is a nonpartisan organization working to activate state and local officials to help stop the authoritarian takeover and restore the rule of law nationwide, starting with our proposed Restore the Constitution Act.
As a volunteer Advocacy Leader, you build and lead the effort in your own community. This role is for someone with initiative: with our guidance and support, you draw on your own networks and relationships and work out what will move things where you live.
This is for a Oregon resident ready to organize in their own community. You do not need prior experience, just drive and roots where you live. It is remote and self-paced, and we help you personally as you get started. You would be one of a small group of volunteers taking this on in different states, comparing notes and backing each other up.
