DRIVERS NEEDED for Food Box Deliveries to Seniors

• Elgin's Food for Seniors program delivers and distributes pre-packaged Food Boxes to local senior citizens in need. We distribute/deliver twice monthly, on the second and fourth Fridays. Typically the time investment is 1 to 2 hours, depending on how many boxes you sign-up to deliver.
• This is a NO CONTACT delivery.
• Volunteer driver pulls up to the food pantry.
• Volunteers load the cars.
• Driver will be given the delivery sheets for the number of boxes they have requested.
• Deliveries are mapped in one general area for convenience.
• Each box weighs about 20 - 25 lbs.
• Pick-up between 1:30 pm & 2:00 pm.
