Trail Clean Ups @ Guadalupe River Park - 3rd Saturdays @ 9 AM!

Come help us spruce up the Guadalupe River Park, your local green space! Our trail cleanups are a great opportunity to beautify the grounds of the park and give a little love to the planet. Spend some time on your Saturday morning to improve the lives of our local wildlife and community members by giving them a safe and clean space to enjoy.

VOLUNTEER WORKDAY DETAILS

→ Date: Every 3rd Saturday of the month (weather permitting)

→ Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

→ Meeting Location: It varies on where the park needs support that week - sign up via Google form to learn the specific location for the month!

• PRE-REGISTRATION THROUGH GOOGLE FORM IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND

Getting Ready to Volunteer:

We provide all necessary tools for the cleanup as well as disposable gloves. The workday will run through 11:00 AM, or when it gets too hot to work outside (seasonal).

• The minimum age to volunteer is 10 years old. Chaperones are required for individuals age 15 and under.
• Restrooms may not be available depending on our location. Please plan accordingly.
• Please bring a full, reusable water bottle. Light water and snacks will be provided.
• Closed-toed shoes and clothes you are comfortable getting dirty are essential.
• We highly recommend wearing sunscreen and bringing a hat.
• We provide all necessary tools and have disposable gloves. If you prefer to use your own gloves, feel free to bring them to the event.
• Inclement weather may cancel this event; we will contact you should conditions require the event to be postponed.

In addition, please note that:

• We are unable to accommodate drop-ins if the event is sold out. School groups and corporate teams must contact the Volunteer Coordinator in advance to schedule events.
