Groton-Hospice Volunteers Needed: Companionship

Hospice provides physical, emotional and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families. All volunteers receive specialized training and ongoing support and are an integral part of the hospice team of caregivers.

• Support could include: companionship and caregiver relief, reading, listening, running errands, grocery shopping, and craft projects.
• Provide special therapies such as Reiki, aromatherapy, pet therapy and music therapy
