Then join IMA Tech, the technology and data team of Instituto Mãos Amigas (IMA)!

Our purpose:

To develop technological solutions that improve IMA’s internal management, bringing more efficiency and agility to the daily work of other teams, as well as to build tools that will be used by the people supported by our organization.

IMA Tech team:

We currently have an international team of 8 technical volunteers, including back-end, front-end and full-stack developers, a QA analyst, and UX/UI designers.

What we expect from you:

• Internet access and a computer to perform the activities;
• Good communication skills;
• Proactivity, empathy, and alignment with the values of the Mãos Amigas NGO;
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn and make things happen;
• Commitment and responsibility;
• Availability of at least 2 hours per week to work on activities and attend meetings (flexible);
• Basic knowledge of design, accessibility, and responsiveness;
• Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) and/or image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop).

What you will do:

• Create prototypes for websites and applications, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience;
• Participate in team ceremonies and meetings (planning, retrospectives, demos, etc.).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of or interest in learning programming;
• A portfolio with screens or prototypes you have created.
