Calling All Students! Intern with Suncrest Hospice!

Join the Suncrest Hospice volunteer team as we provide excellent care and support to our hospice patients and their families!

The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. As a volunteer admin intern, you will receive training on the business, medical, and financial model of hospice care, and will learn the departments and disciplines necessary to run a hospice agency/business. Our admin interns learn effective meeting templates and best practices and will attend department meetings as their schedule permits. Interns assist the social service department in the coordination, scheduling, and implementation of programs. Interns assist office staff with mailings, medical records, and other office duties as necessary. Interns also have the opportunity to shadow and/or meet with organization leaders and department heads for hands-on field experience and education.

Volunteers can assist in our office in Northbrook or Westmont and/or remotely with administrative and marketing projects. We're happy to tailor the experience to your interests and class credit needs.
