Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of services for older adults. ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

As a volunteer with you can make a profound difference in the lives of our clients. We have volunteer opportunities that support your intention of making a positive difference in the lives of others.

The ElderPlace Gresham Day Center is seeking volunteers Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30am - 2:30pm. Your presence one day a week brings the opportunity for living in the moment and celebration.

Volunteers may do one or more of the following activities within the Day Center:

• Reading a story
• Playing a variety of games
• Arts & Craft projects
• Reminiscing
• One-on-One companionship

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with many types of people
• Good listening skills
• Dependable
• Enthusiastic
• 16 + years of age
