Compassus Volunteer

A Compassus volunteer has several areas they can choose to contribute. One to one bedside companion visits where they visit with the patient helping them with activities of interest, socializing, reading a book or watching a movie. They can join the special events team where they assist our patients to attend activities that Compassus sponsors in our facilities such as holiday celebrations, Bingo Buddies and arts and crafts. There is also a need for administrative support assisting the Volunteer Coordinator. We always have a need for pet therapy dogs and their handlers. Our goal is to provide a variety of ways to support our patients and their families and give the volunteer the opportunity to choose what intrests them and are comfortable with.
