About Creshendo
Creshendo is a refugee- and migrant-led organization that develops programs focused on advocacy, leadership, and community learning. Our work centers lived experience, trauma-informed practices, and collaborative learning with immigrant-serving organizations.
Encouragement to Apply
We are looking for a thoughtful, curious, and reliable Community Insights Analyst to help us better understand and uplift the voices of the communities we serve. This role is ideal for someone who cares deeply about people, stories, and impact.
We provide training, welcome new ideas, and foster a collaborative environment where your perspective is valued.
Experience Level: Entry-level (no prior experience required)
About the Role
You’ll monitor conversations happening across immigrant communities—both online and through our network of partners and participants—and help turn what you observe into clear, actionable insights.
Think of yourself as a pattern-finder: you notice what people are saying, what’s changing, and what keeps coming up. You document these insights consistently and, over time, help us better understand community needs and priorities.
Your work will directly shape how we design and prioritize our programs, ensuring they are grounded in real experiences.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and gather community conversations, feedback, and perspectives
- Track recurring themes, concerns, and emerging needs
- Log insights clearly and consistently into a shared tracker
- Identify patterns and shifts in community sentiment over time
- Contribute ideas and observations in a collaborative team setting
Who This Is a Great Fit For
You’ll thrive in this role if you are naturally observant, thoughtful, and able to synthesize information into clear takeaways. You genuinely care about the immigrant experience and want to contribute to meaningful, community-driven work.
Consistency matters more than expertise—we’ll teach you the rest.
Backgrounds in communications, research, UX, journalism, or community work are a natural fit—but all curious and committed individuals are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in community engagement and social impact
- Reliable and committed to a 6-month engagement
- Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills (or willingness to develop them)
- Open to learning, feedback, and collaboration
- No prior experience required
What We Offer
- Training and ongoing support
- A collaborative, idea-friendly environment
- Hands-on experience in community insight gathering and analysis
- Opportunity to contribute to meaningful, impact-driven work
