Show up and make the day work. This is the role for people who want to be in the room.
What You'll Do
• Provide hands-on support at VOV programs, events and construction projects
• Help with sports activities, community initiatives and neighborhood outreach
• Run registration, setup, cleanup and day-of logistics
• Support daily operations throughout Chicago and surrounding communities
Who This Is For
Anyone able to get to Chicago-area sites. No experience required — we will show you what to do. Groups, families, students and corporate volunteer teams are welcome.
Time Commitment
Flexible. Single days or ongoing. Chicago and surrounding communities.
Why It Matters
Programs do not run on ideas. They run on the people who showed up early and stayed late.

Voices of Variety (VOV) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2007 by Jasen Brown. Our work is prevention. We create positive outlets — sports, music, the skilled trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, adventure and community service — so that violence and crime never get their opening.
