Volunteers will support widows living with HIV through emotional support, empowerment activities, community outreach, health education, and income-generating projects. Responsibilities may include assisting with counseling sessions, teaching life skills, supporting small business activities, organizing awareness programs, and helping reduce stigma in the community. Volunteers should be compassionate, respectful, open-minded, and willing to work closely with vulnerable women in rural communities. Experience in community work, health, social work, counseling, or women empowerment is helpful but not required. Volunteers must respect confidentiality and local culture while promoting dignity, hope, and inclusion for widows living with HIV.

Volunteers usually arrive through Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. Airport pickup and travel guidance can be arranged upon request. Detailed directions to the project location in Monduli District, Arusha Region, Tanzania will be shared after volunteer confirmation.

Volunteers interested in supporting widows living with HIV are encouraged to send a short introduction about themselves, their interests, skills, and availability. Experience in community work, counseling, health, women empowerment, or social support is welcome but not required. Volunteers should be respectful, compassionate, and willing to work within local culture and child protection guidelines. A copy of a passport or identification document may be requested after acceptance.
