AI and Impact Mentor – Executive Director Support (Volunteer, Remote)

Creshendo is a nonprofit organization that empowers displaced communities through education, advocacy, and storytelling. As we grow, we’re looking to thoughtfully explore how emerging technologies like AI can enhance our work—not by replacing our people, but by helping our team work smarter, stay creative, and increase our collective impact.

We’re seeking an AI and Impact Mentor to support our Executive Director in exploring and integrating AI across our organization in ways that are modern, ethical, and aligned with our mission. This role is ideal for someone who understands the evolving landscape of AI—including Agentive AI—and wants to help a purpose-driven team use it wisely.

What you’ll do

• Partner with the Executive Director to explore AI tools that support Creshendo’s programs, storytelling, communications, research, and operations
• Identify relevant, user-friendly AI platforms (including Agentive AI and others) that can be integrated into nonprofit workflows
• Offer mentorship and thought partnership around ethical, accessible, and culturally sensitive uses of AI
• Share guidance on how to integrate AI without replacing team members, but instead enhancing their capacity and creativity
• Recommend systems, automations, or strategies that can improve internal efficiency and external impact

What we’re looking for

• A strong understanding of current AI tools, especially Agentive AI or similar co-pilot-style platforms
• Insight into how AI can be used in mission-driven organizations with small, global teams
• Comfort mentoring at a leadership level, with the ability to break down concepts clearly and collaboratively
• A people-first mindset and awareness of the ethical questions surrounding AI in social impact spaces
• Availability of 2 to 5 hours per week, flexible and remote
