Are you looking for IN PERSON opportunities to help community members on hospice services?

Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and/or their families at local healthcare facilities or in their personal home in the areas of Milford and Medway

Volunteers are needed who:

• Play music for patients
• Are veterans interested in supporting veterans on hospice
• Want to make legacy projects and crafts with and for patients and their loved ones.
• Are willing to listen and talk, read a book, play cards, or watch a favorite TV show

Companionship volunteers do not perform any clinical activities with a patient such as feeding, toileting, bathing or transferring.

Volunteers schedule their own visits - day/time.

Volunteers receive training that fits into any busy schedule.
