Orientation is provided. Pick up meals between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. at the site, deliver between 11 and 1:00 pm. Total delivery time depends on amount of people and route. May volunteer as little as one day per month. We are open Monday-Friday.

Must be able to supply two references. Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and provide us a copy. Must have a working vehicle and be able to provide us with proof of insurance. Must be timely.

- Meals on Wheels in Hunterdon is partnering with Norwescap AmeriCorps Seniors to engage older adults in volunteer opportunities! Meals on Wheels in Hunterdon is a non-profit dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of seniors aged 60 and over living in Hunterdon County by providing nutritious meals and services. Follow detailed directions, pick up the meals from our site, drive to each recipient’s home on their route, and carry meals from their personal vehicle to the recipient’s door. Observe for possible signs of distress or decline in the client and be able to report their condition back to the supervisor, deliver the coolers back to the site when completed or to the designated drop-off location.
