NAMIWalks Washington - Sunday, May 31, 2026

NAMIWalks Washington is currently registering volunteers for the annual NAMIWalks at Magnuson Park in Seattle, on Sunday May 31st, 2026.

There are a wide variety of different volunteer positions available - from setting up signs, working the registration booth, directing traffic flow into the parking lot, cheering on walkers along the route, distributing t-shirts or donated food, and much more! Read on for specific information about the shift times and job descriptions available on the various Volunteer Teams and then register to volunteer.

Fill out the google form with your contact info, preferences/availability, and you’ll be contacted with a confirmation of a specific volunteer role(s).

Opportunities Include:

All Star Volunteer (9: 00 am-2:00 pm)

All Star Volunteer - Runner (9:00 am - 2:00 pm)

Parking Team - Traffic Control (10:00 am - 1:30 pm)

Parking Team - Parking Lot Vendor Helper (9:00 am - 12pm)

Start/Finish Line Team - (11:00 am-12pm)

Start/Finish Line Team - Last Walker (12:30 am-3:00 pm)

Venue Team - Set up (9am-12pm)

Walk Route Team - Set Up (9am-11:00 am )

Walk Route Team - Monitors/Cheerleaders (11:30am-1:00 pm)

Photographer (11am-3:00 pm)

Videographer/Social Media Guru (on smartphone, can be combined with other roles, All Day)

Water Station on Route (11:30 AM - 3:00 PM) hype the crowd bring a bluetooth speaker and have fun

Venue Team - Trash/Recycling & Maintenance (12 pm-3:00 pm)

Venue Team - Deliver Trash/Recycling to dump must have a truck (3 pm)

Venue Team - Clean Up Crew (1:30 pm-4:00 pm)

Registration Team - Set Up and Check-In (10 am-1:00 pm)

Registration Team - Check-In (10am-1pm)

Registration Team - T-shirts Set Up (10:00am-1:00pm)

Registration Team - T-shirts (10am-9:30am)

Volunteer Check-In (8:30am-12:30pm)

Crowd Control Monitors (10:00am-2:00pm)

Street signs and Cone Removal Team (2:00 PM -4:00 PM)

Medical Team (10:30-2:00)

Route Clean Up (1:30-3:30)

Sponsor Parking Lot Manager (8:00am-12:00)

Sponsor unload assistance (8:00am-12:00)

Sponsor load out assistance (2:30 pm-4:00 pm)

Volunteers must be 16 years or older (or 12 years and older if accompanied by an adult)
