Conservation Teams Coordinator

The Sierra Club PA Chapter has 9 Conservation Teams - find a descriptions here. Each of these 9 teams has a volunteer leader. We are looking for a new volunteer to support and coordinate with these 9 leaders to make sure they have the resources they need to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Periodic check in with the 9 consv team leaders (email, zoom or phone). At least quarterly.
• Try to resolve any issues or questions the leaders might have by reaching out to Chapter leadership (staff or volunteer leaders). Primarily the newer leaders might ocassionally need support.
• Report to the PA Chapter ExCom meetings at their quarterly meetings about needs or accomplishments of the teams. A short written report (1 paragraph) is required. Meeting (zoom) attendance is optional.
• Ocassionally provide meeting facilitation support if one of the leaders cannot cover their own meeting. If you are available.
• Work with other Conservation Leaders to improve the effectiveness of our volunteer teams. Your suggestions are encouraged.

Onboarding and some orientation will be provided by current Conservation Team leaders.
