    Descrição

Social Media Content Creator | Tell the Story of the Market

Join the Movement — Volunteer with the One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market 2026 Season

Be part of a growing movement building health, community power, and self-determination in the Black community. The One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market is calling on dedicated volunteers to help bring this vision to life during our 2026 season in North St. Louis.

    Our Mission

To ensure access to fresh, healthy food for the Black community, end food apartheid, and build sustainable community commerce by strengthening relationships with Black farmers and vendors — advancing a real path toward African self-reliance and self-determination.

    Why Volunteer?

This is more than a farmers market — it’s a space where culture, health, and economic power come together. From fresh produce and African and Caribbean cuisine to local entrepreneurship and community programming, the market is a living example of what self-determined communities can build.

    Volunteer Role

Help us tell the story of One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market beyond market day!

The Social Media Content Creator will develop engaging, original content that reflects the market's brand, mission, vendors, farmers, community, culture, and food justice work. You'll capture the market's energy and turn it into content that inspires people to shop Black, support local agriculture, attend upcoming markets, and get involved.

Responsibilities include creating photos, videos, reels, graphics, captions, and other social media content; developing creative ideas; and creating a posting schedule to ensure content is shared consistently across different platforms.

You'll help showcase the people and stories that make the market special while expanding our reach and bringing new community members into the movement for food justice and community commerce.

Great for: Creative storytellers, photographers, videographers, graphic designers, social media strategists, and digital organizers who know how to turn community work into compelling content.

    Get Involved

Whether you can join us for one market or the full season, your time and energy make a direct impact. Step into a space where we are actively building the future we deserve — healthy, self-sustaining, and rooted in community power.

Sign up, bring a friend, and be part of the movement.
